Hello everyone....anyone done a hybrid with a B18C short block and a B16 head??? What were the results??? I'm planning on B18 short block + B16a pistons(11.2 compresion), type R cams, ODBI P28 + Mugen chip.

I have never personally done it but, I hear this setup is nice for a turbo application because of the b16a head flow characteristics. You may want to go low comp pistion though. For all motor applications it seems like it would be an extremely strong motor.
 
A.K.A. the poor mans type R. B16 has the same head cast as the ITR, so mate that to a 1.8 block and bada boom,bada bing.
 
Unfortunately you still have to get all the things that make the R head cooler. :)

Sure it will work, but why do you want to do it?
