I have a obd-1 gsr hybrid motor swaped into my 91 civic si hatchback and it's running rich. Car runs great, but is a gas guzzler. The 4 gas analyzer is reading 10-11 percent CO which is way to high. We tried retarding the timing and giving it a vaccum leak, but no change. The injectors and everthing are within spec. The only thing we noticed is it has a vortex fuel pressure regulator on it and the fuel pressure is about 48 pounds. The reason i'm not sure if the pressure is to hihg is because the motor has been built and has a compression ratio of 11 : 1. Just not sure if 48lbs is still to high for a motor with that high of compression. Is this to high?? Also does anyone know if the vortex regualtor can be adjusted or will i need to get a different one. Let me know if anyone can help lean this puppy out.
