gsr in a 89 crx si

i am thinking of doing a gsr into my 89 crx si but i heard you had to take a hammer to some parts of the car if this is true what parts and if there is ant way around doing this

With any b series motor in a crx you have to bang out so that the alternator will clear.

would that bethe only place that you have to hit for a gsr to fit

yes, but in some rare occasions, depending on what mount kit is used, there have been problems with hood clearance.

i got some yonaka mounts from jspec and they work good also prety cheap i did a ls swap on mine and i have no hood clearence issues. you do have to make a dent on the car for the alternator to fit.
