GSR tranny on a B20

Anyone have personal experience with liking the ls tranny over the gsr for a b20 swap with a turbo in the near future? I already have a good GSR tranny with low miles on it but my friend is telling me to get an LS instead because its geared better for the engine. Sound accurate?

Im sick of hearing "Get the Ls tranny for boost" Bottom line is boost or N/A the gsr tranny will always be faster.
