Yeah thats also known as the Disco Potato and from what I've heard its a badass turbo. Pretty expensive tho. I'd say you'd be spoolin at 3 - 3.5k

All GTs are. But they are all pretty badass. My friend had one on his Impreza RS. Before it blew (not related to the actual turbo) that thing could haul ass through the whole power band.

how is that turbo too small for a b-series vtec? he only wants to run 10psi. if anything shouldnt he consider a gt25? sure he wont be able to go much farther than 10psi, but the turbo would be running at peak effeciancy, wouldnt it?

10psi is not enough for anything. Crank it to JDM levels.

10psi is plenty, depends on the motor, the turbo, and the tune

He asked about a turbo to run at 10psi on his motor and nobody was tellin him wut a good one would be, so i did. Aside from that, 10psi should work out nice on a motor with an already high compression ratio, if he gets a good tune and fuel managment too. But, more boost=more fun lol.

I understand that you need to pick a turbo to suit your needs, thats what i did with my setup. But with the info provided ( "i want to know will a GT28RS be a good turbo for low boost like 10psi max" ) I tried to help him. Am i wrong in saying that a gt25 would be a better suited turbo to run at a constant 10 psi than a gt28?

i am more worried about if it was going to hold from 2800-8000 it will be replace with a gt30 after it is built, but i figured a gt28 would suit me for how its set up at the moment.

not much maybe 210-270 whp for now. right now its stock internals, with bolt ons i was thinking a gt28 to pick up some more mid range top end.
