H/e Gaskets...?

I am going to be switching my header and exhaust with my friends header and exhaust. Can we re-use the gaskets or do we need new ones ?

Your old ones will work. When you take them off, look and see how bad of shape they are in and make a decsion based on that. It won't hurt to put new ones on.

Probably not the IM gasket, it will probably come apart when you remove the IM, but the exhaust one if it isn't to messed up (metal).

Isn't the header gasket metal too ?

The header one is, but the intake manifold isn't, just the middle of it is.
