here in the next month or so, I am planning a motor swap on my 94 civic..

    I want to put in a JDM H22A 5-speed.

    I have a stock 94 civic automatic.

I need to know everything i will need to get.

I know i need the motor, manual trany, ecu, wiring harness, clutch pedal, cluch master cylinder (including lines and such), prelude linkage (for auto 2 manual swap), conversion mounts, and axles. Anything else...

What axles can i use for the swap?

Any other info would be greatly appreciated....

from what i hear you can use the 90-93 Integra axles, but i don't know what intermediate shaft to use off hand,
i think it was some accord one

    H22 swap

From what i've heard and seen into looking at this swap for my 97 civic Ex 5-speed you loose A/C and Power steering and you have to make alot of mods to the engine bay to get it to fit!

Do you mean by Intermediate shaft the one that goes from the tranny on the drivers side too the baring mounted too the back of the motor? I need too get the one that goes from that too the drivers front wheel and just need too know for sure that all I ask for is the drivers outside C/V shaft for 90-93 Integra right? Is there a certen engine that I have too say I need it for? You know parts shop's you have too hold their hand too get the right part! LOL
    Thanx in advance!

I did it yesterday and it worked so Thanx!!
The only thing I found and it just might be the make of the CV but since My car is very low I found that it was binding the CV? I rased the car about a third of an inch and it drives ok now but if I hit a bump or go around a corner to the right it still binds a bit? Think I'm gonna lift it about another 1/4" and seef if that fixes it all? Anyone ever find this with it?

    Thanx again for the help!!!

Nope, I haven't heard of it. at least in the case of just because the car is low.

then again i haven't done an H22 swap directly into an EG using an H or F series tranny

Take some pics and start your own thread.
i would also recommend double checking your motor mounts to be sure there isn't any movement in those causing the binding.

For the H22A JDM swap into a Del Sol... What race header options are there... Reasonably priced? Will a regular H22 race header work on a swap or is a swap header needed?

Don't threadjack please, and check the dates on stuff before you post. Next time, instead of bringing back a 6-month old dead thread, just start a new one...
