I have a 1994 Civic Hatchback with an H22 swap, with front and back gsr spindles. OK, i was driving one day and i was going down a pretty Monster curve, and i bottom out pretty hard. I drove home everything was fine. The next day i got into my car, it started to vibrate when I exceeded about 55-60 mph. When im doing 60 mph and i hit the gas to about 50% acceleration. the car starts to shake pretty good in the front end area. I changed out my driver side outter tie rod and axle, but the shaking still continues. When im driving normal theres no shaking, but when i gas it to about 50% acceleration, or exceed 3500 rpms it starts to shake. Any ideas?

hrmmm, but the steering wheel doesnt shake much, and if i let go of the steering wheel it goes straight with no pull to any side. its mostly like the ffront end area, like my dash shakes.. all my motor mounts are tight and good shape, i havent changed my passenger side axle yet could that be a problem? any more ideas?

the reason why im sure of it is because its your inner bearing on cv axle that is causing vibration at higher speeds, that happened to me a couple of months ago..

Not alignment. FYI....MANY Hondas don't need alignment due to wear and tear. New tie rods...yes they would make it necessary to do an alignment job. But I had a good friend that ahs worked for Les Shwabby for over a decade school me that my alignment was not an issue and the only way to aleviate the situation is usually only done by roatating the wheels.

I say an AXLE too...but you need to jack her up to see....driving like this could cause a big accident...so I say keep that thing off the streets until its fixed

yeah im sure its not the alignment, if anything maybe a balance may have fell off the rim or something causing un balanced weight which prolly wouldnt cause too much of a problem enough to make my whole dash shake.. but damn Lol mines like earth quake when im doing like 80 at 4k rpms... wish i could fix it now, but its storming like crazy. makes me wanna do it in the rain cuz when the rain stops its gonna be so humid and hot.. =[
