Was thinking of doing this h22 swap into either my 87 Crx Shell ( will it fit ? )
what do i need for the swap..


I also have my daily driving 91 civic hatch back.

Id rather put the motor into the older gen crx but if it wont fit il do it in the civic.

What all do i need for the swap. Anyone know of a write up?

I've never personally seen or heard of an H22 into a 3rd-gen Civic. It's a tight fit into the 4th-gen bay, so it would probably be even tighter into the 3rd-gen. Nobody makes mounts for it, so everything would have to be custom.

It'll be much easier to put it into the Civic.
 
ah but it would be so cool to have it in the 3rd gen.


Anyhu if anyone has info on the swap lemme know.
 
ive saw k series in a 3rd gen,,so i know the h can be dont but like said above it will all be custom stuff
 
Wrong forum, numbnuts.

And yes, the swap is possible - Slightly modified mounts. Rear is stock mount (From an integra or something) and the rest at HASPORT mounts.

The wiring will leave you with either an ill-fitting dash or no dash at all.
