Hi all, i am new here. i have a couple of questions but first i will introduce my self. my name is cameron and i am in australia. i have a 94 5th gen accord sedan, the f22b1 (2.2 sohc vtec) motor broke and it is half out at the moment.

I bought a complete 96 JDM prelude front clip 200hp h22a 2.2 dohc vtec lsd 5 speed manual.

okay. here is my questions

i am referring to a how-to site http://www.h22a.org/5gswap.htm

it says you have to add these wires

VTEC Solenoid: Grn/Yel on Prelude harness > Pin A4 on ECU // SENSOR
LOCATION: Near distributor
VTEC Pressure Switch: Lt Blu on Prelude harness > Pin D6 on ECU //
SENSOR LOCATION: Near distributor

does this only apply if your car is currently non vtec? My car had
an f22b vtec in it.

also it says that:

You will have two hoses to cap off on the tranny, where the power
steering speed sensor connects (passengers side). Usually these
would go to the Prelude rack, but since there is no matching
connection on the Accord rack, they are useless.

Aussie spec 5th gen accords have speed sensitive steering. I am
assuming that i just hook up these hose as per usual from the tranny
to the rack.

cheers,
cam.

Your VTEC wires should work if you lengthen them. You will have to switch pins A6 and A11 at the ECU because Accord and Prelude switched them in your generation.

You will also need to add the IAB wire from your intake to your ECU(Pink, A17). Plus, the Knock sensor wire from above your oil filter to D3(Red/Blue). It's in my gallery in the other post. If you print all the pictures I posted, there is a lot of info.

I have no idea about your tranny. If it looks the same, I'd try it.
