no cutting. denting probably for the linkage. if u get the same obd motor as ur car then u need ecu, shift linkage, mounts and axles...........you know what i don't like to be mean, but use the little search button this question is asked a billion times i did it and i apologize for askin it but it is asked alot. look at my B16 vs. B18 thread, it has the info.

I had an eg hatch and I swapped a JDm H22A and it was definately worth it.
You just need to do some minor cutting around the stock shifter base to fit the prelude linkage and shifter. I preffer the 95 prelude metal shift box cause the plastic accord one sucks. You will need to cut a hole near the bottum of the center console to run the shift linkage cables through.
Make sure you route the shift cables properly cause any slack will cause it to be hard to shift or get into gear.
You can use GSR ABS axles thats what I did on both sides. I had stage 2 drive shaft shop axles rated for 400hp and snap it from the input hub so what I ended up doing was run brand new GSR ABS axles and never gave me a problem and no vibration well balanced.

Note this: You cannot have a lowered car when running H22 swap cause you have minimal clearance I just did a 1 1/4 inch drop and still looked good. You don't want to put any kind of stress on the axles when having a H22 swap cause you will keep busting them like twigs.

Have to be careful on turns not to go fast cause it throws the car off balance since its such a heavy engine. Upgrade the suspension also cause that engine weights alot more than your typical single or B series swap.

Engine mounts go with Arizona Race or Hasport both are billit alluminum same style but Arizona has a mirror polish finish and look nice for presentation when showing off your swap.

    Good Luck!

The engine from an H or the transmission don't weight that much more than a typical B.

    maybe 40-50lbs more at most.

The swap into the Del Sol is just like swapping into another 92-95 civic and if its a 96-97 there is an OBD change.

    buy my H2B ;)

40-50 Lbs Lol! yeah right trying owning one before you say something like that.
I do swaps all the time and built many Ls/V-tec and Crv/V-tec engines and don't even come close to the weight of a H series. H series tranny may come close to B series tranny weight probably 50 lbs or so difference but engine big difference in weight.
H-series internally has alot more going on than a B-series. Balance shafts system alone explains where most of the weight comes in.

Honda-Tech.com: Honda Civic/Del Sol (1992 - 2000): To settle the H22 Vs B Series Weight Arguement I bring you this... (pics)
Kindly remove the bag of bullshit from your swaps:D

add another 10 or so from the head

Also I have an H series sitting downstairs. H2B. Already owned and still own. So it does help to read, as opposed to listening to rumors.

Add another 8 to the roughly 35lb figure since he didnt have the balance shafts in.

I know the alternator is heavier but swap that out with one from a D its a lot lighter.

So around 50 lbs. but not a massive amount like you are suggesting. So how much wieght does a turbo kit tack on?

Damn. I was hoping someone actually did one, so I could look at the pictures of the engine bay.
