Hey,
my h23 tranny usually grinds a little when going into 5th so i'm guessing my synchros for that gear are wearing out. i'm gonna be replacing my clutch within the next few months so i was wondering what i should do.
1)fuck it, and leave it be since it's only 5th gear and not too bad.

2)rebuild it (if so, how much would this usually cost?)

3)buy a h22 or h23 tranny from a local junkyard.

4)buy an jdm h22 w/ lsd from some company

Rebuilds can be expensive. It all depends on your area. Ask around, grab the yellowpages, or do a local net search. If you can rebuild it cheap and they will stand behind their work do it up. I know that I can get b and d trannys for cheap so to me I just buy a used one, but thats my area not yours.

*But if you have the $ to spend upgrade that b0tch to h22 LSD
