head bolts

    ive looked everywhere and cannot find the info..
    basically i need to know the lengths of a6 head bolts and z6 head bolts..
    im going minime and dont have the money for arp so im going to get oem headbolts..
    i just need to figure out what the differance is..

    the D16A6 and the D16Z6 use the same head bolts - 10mm x 140mm

    ohok..because this one guy was telling me i had to get d16z6 head bolts

    ok so do i torque it to 22 ft lbs and then 48 ft lbs(a6) or do i torque it to 22ft lbs then 53 ft lbs(z6)

    im running the z6 head on an a6 block with a6 headbolts

    22 and 53, like the manual says

    right ^^ and make sure you use the z6 timing belt too.

    yea i was going to use the z6 belt..i jus didnt know cuz the block/head combo

    on hondas you always use the top end components of the head you are using... studs/belts etc.

    lol yes i realize that..im saying i didnt know if i should torque to the z6 specs or the a6 specs..
    i had an idea that if i used z6 specs it might snap the bolt or strip the block..

    well the blocks are pretty much the same...

    thats what i needed to know..so i use the whole z6 top and the whole z6 torque specs.
