heat shield question

i have a cat-back exhaust on my prelude and sometimes i'll hear a rattling or metal vibration from underneath the car when accelerating. happens every now and then and seems to occur mostly under light throttle. i'm guessing it's the heat shield vibrating against the body or something else. is there any way to fix this?

remove your heat sheild -

dont care just live with it

just spend all your time above 5000rpm and you won't hear any rattling, just a satisfying engine noise.

DO NOT take it off. It not there for looks its there for a reason.

simple fix the ones on my rex rattle like crazy i took hose clamps and put them around the heat shield and the exhaustm hellps everything tight and quiet

try adding some additional washers between the sheilds that helped stop mine from rattling. Also if check the o2 sensor on the cat to see if it is rattling. My problem was a two part problem that required me adjusting the heat shied and my o2 sensor.

if you tighten the shield.....use red lock tight...it will never loosen again....
