Heater core lines

I'm removing my heater core, and im wondering if it works to loop the coolant lines now without the heater core? And where to get hose from, I'd like samco's but it seems to be hard to get pieces unless i want a whole $500 roll.

yea that will be fine to loop it just go to autozone or somewere
