help me out want to replace the engine in my 98 honda ex

i currently have a d15 block with an automatic transmission i want to know what would be the best engine to swap it with and if changing it to a 5 spd would be difficult. A few of my friends have been telling me that they think i should put a b16, but they havent gone any more details so if someone could do that for me and help explain the difference to me that would be wonderful

A b16 is good thats wat i have in my 98 civic ex but u could put a B20 its cheapear nd u find parts for it faster nd it pulls more tourque than a b16 but i would recomend a b20 =)
