I went to start my h22 for the first time after the swap. The starter solenoid made clicking noises but the engine did not rotate. I hooked up a battery charger thinking my battery was weak. Because it was disconnected for several months while I did the engine swap. I tried starting the engine with the battery charge on. One thing I notice was the amp meter on the battery charger pegged out when I turn the ignition key on.

To make a long story short. It seems like my engine is seized up. I tried to turn my crankshaft pulley with all my spark plugs and starter removed. I need some help badly my son can't wait anymore. He just wants to drive his car again.

Did the engine spin with you manually turning it?

Was the car in neutral when you tried to spin the motor? Is this a known good motor? was it exposed to alot of moisture/water while it sat?

And give that charger more time, I'm sure that battery is very low after sitting a few months.
