I guess my first post expected a little too much, thanks A LOT to the guy that told me what kind of engine I have. Still no one has responded about the rpm range for the vtec and the oil part af the question! DO I HAVE TO OFFER TO SEND CASH???;)
 
you really didnt need to post another topic.. you could have just bumped the other one you made..
 
well first off....there is no 2.3l v6.

it is going to be the 2.3 l I4 or a 3.0L v6

for the 2.3 the vtec i believe is around 4800 and redline 6200-6500

3.0 v6 vtec is low some where in the 3k's and red lines at about the same
 
SORRY I just woke up - it is am f23 2.3 litrer 4 banger - not a v6. I just rebuilt a chevy s-10 with a 3 liter - v6 in it, and I slept will noon, mixed the two up... =-)
