Help switching from auto to manual - 97 exi - auto gearbox is crap

Hey

For the second time in 5 years i'm about to change gearboxes again after another one shit itself, i suspect a mechanic may have given it its final thrash.

Just wondering how hard it is to put a manual box in, or is the car completely different for manual

Run a search in the Accord forum. There's a nice illustrated write-up somewhere around here for doing exactly this. As for what you need, basically everything that would go on the manual version of the car (transmission, clutch, flywheel, manual pedals, axles, hydraulic lines, master/slave cylinders, shift linkage, shifter, manual center console w/ shift knob and boot, etc.)...
