Alright i've got a 99 civic dx with a obd2b b18b1 swap from a 98 integra. I'm going to be replacing the engine harness and distributor but am confused which distributor i need...

If i use a d16y7 engine harness from a 99-00 civic, which distributor do i need to use on the obd2b b18b1 engine. The oem distributor for the b18b1 has a big style plug, but the y7 harness has a smaller style plug so what do i do????

I dont think a 98 B18B is OBD2B I believe its OBD2A

Your Civic is a 99 and I think its a OBD2B but your B18B is OBD2A

Don't know where you live but I am pretty sure its illegal to put a older motor in a newer car in your state.

If you are hell bent on putting this motor in your car....I would get a 98 Civic One Piece Engine Harness and it should be plug and play (But I am not a OBD2 Honda Guru)

I live in mi, they could care less lol.

The enigne is already in my car but it runs like crap because the harness is hacked, but a 98 harness will not work, it has to be 99-00. Thanks though.

Anyone else??
