Help!!

Ok, I am doing a b18a1 (OBD1) swap into my 92 HB CX. I got the engine in and evrything hooked up except my alternator. When I turn the key for the engine to start I hear my fuel pump come on for a few seconds. So then I crank it over. It sounds like it is trying to start but can't then I will get a backfire every now and then. What should I do to solve this? It won't fully start.

I am getting some I haven't tested all wires but will do that tonight. I do get back fire like every 4th stroke or so.
