OK i think i posted before how my car stutters and hesitates, especially at lower rpms, but it also does it on the freeway. WHen it is happening, there is a pretty noticable power loss. ONe day the car will run smooth....couple of hours later it starts again.

Today, i came to the conclusion that steering has something to do with it. When i make a sharp turn, like a u-turn, and then start accelerating, it goes into the stuttering no power mode. Does this make sense? anyone know how it could be related to steering?

Maybe check the tension on the PS belt? I highly doubt that would cause the bogging but who knows. I would start with plugs/wires/cap/rotor/fuel filter/injectors. Maybe run a bottle of seafoam through it too.

OK, for me and all teh others who didnt see your previous thread. Give details on your setup. what obd, ecu, motor, mods do you have?

You forgot the PCV valve. You might wanna check on that also.

Sounds like you have a loose/shorted wire or connector somewhere. That happened to me on my first car. It ran like hell, you'd swerve left, it would take off like a mofo.. Straighten it out, it ran like hell again. The engine harness to the FI had worn through and was shorting against the block. When I was turning, the g force would be just enough to pull it away and stop the short.

2 mechanics and one automotive electrical specialist and they didn't figure it out. I decided to go over each harness individually and visually inspect them all. Found the short, taped it up, ran like a weed eater on crack until I split the transmission in two. But that is a different story.

PROBLEM SOLVED.

I dont know what solved it but I installed a new tb, aebs manifold, and some used obd1 injectors. Runs smooth now. So im guessing my old injectors were bad.
