23k is a lot for a "small" car; I'd consider a Genesis coupe or something that gets better MPG.

As for the Fit; it starts around $15k IIRC and ~$20k was for a loaded Fit.

23k is fully loaded with navi. It starts very nicely equipped for 19.2k. Not a bad deal for what it is.

I was actually comparing to the Fit, not the Prius

Though of course I'd expect the CR-Z to be better than the Prius. Or at least I hope. The Insight is priced pretty similar too.

Fit and CRZ are 2 different cars. Mrs. Taco's fit can fit 2 mountain bike and more in the back. Of course it has the room but for that you get a wimpy 1.5L motor that pretty much falls on its ass as soon as 2 people sit on OR you turn on the a/c. for the money you pay for the room

CRZ.
for the money your pay for the performance and fuel economy.
not bad for a vehicle that's been long awaited!

I will own one in a few years as well. after it's been swapped to death and the parts cost have gone down.
