Honda ignition disassembly

I have a 90 civic with a mess of a steering column..
I got another steering column given to me but it has no key.

Does anyone have any tips or tricks to taking the ignition apart to remove the tumblers without having the key?

Can't you just get a key made? Or replace the key cylinder.

You need a key to replace the tumbler(switch to I, and then press the little button and pull the cylinder/tumbler out).....unless you you know how to pick locks or have a bump key.

Without it, you'd just unbolt the assembly by putting a slot in the "rivets" and unscrewing them out.
