    Your best bet would to just call a parts store or honda dealer and compare part numbers..

    go to autozone.com and make an account
    first look up water pump for 88dx
    then look up water pump for 83 1.3l
    chances are they will not fit, but part numbers don't lie

    Or, just look it up on RockAuto. Click on the PN and it shows you a list of other cars that part works for.

    that answer is no. but autozone has it for about 20 bucks.
