I am hoping to run 20 psi of boost on a d16, and going with the hondata. My question is would it be better to convert from Obd0~obd1 so I could get the s200b instead of the stage2b? this is in an 89 dx, so I already have to do the dpfi to mpfi.

There's not much difference- just keep to your non-OBD setup and save some money. If the S200 has some options you want that aren't available on the Stage 2, then go ahead and spend the money to switch- otherwise they tune the same.
