how can i tell if i have .25 over pistons

hey guys last year i bought an ls bottom from a freind. well it did me good until i floated a valve. its supposed to be .25 over with type r pistons and total seal rings. i looked on top of the pistons and didnt see anything about the bore size. i know some of them stamp it on top. well needless to say i cannot contact him and have no way to. So i want to rebuild this and need new pistons. but..... what size? please help

If you need to rebuild it anyway, pull one out an use and micrometer to measure or take it to a machine shop and have them measure it. B)
 
what should my piston measure out to be. is it 81.5 or 81.25. thanx
