how do you remove the ICM?

well the crx is getting no spark. i tested my coil against a known good coil and they were the same so its not the coil. now im trying to remove the ICM but i cant get the little fucker out. ive pulled the distributor completely apart and i cant get anything in there deep enough to undo the screws. ive tried like everything. and the only thing in my way is the distributor housing so theres nothing left to take off to get outta the way. someone please help. thanks.

some pics to show you what i mean. the screws are about an inch inside the housing.
