I got a 91 ed6 and it has d15b1, and was wondering how to tell if they changed to an si intake and tranny. thanks

DX will curve 90 degrees (straight down) into the intake, Si enters from the side. They have completely different intake manifolds and will look nothing alike.

As far as the transmission, try to locate the serial number and call up a dealership.

what is B0000? The only # I see is SL3-5110240 if that means anything. The car has the si intake on it. The head has PM3 on does that mean anything? Its a d15b1 block.
Thanks for the info on the intake

The B000(or A000) is where the axle ares; it's where the differential is near the transmission drain plug.

PM3 is the head casting code; same as the rest of the nonVTEC D15 and D16s.

PM3-1,3,7 for the D16A6 Si, P08-2,3,4,5 for the D16Z6 Si, and P2J-2,3,4,6,7 for the D16Y8 Si.
