How much spam do you get a day

Just wondering...I got yahoo as my email account...and I get a decent steady 55-88 spam e-mails a day...I've even given up looking at them....so why do they spam? <_<

so Who gets the most spam here?

I have used block sender about 400 times. Hotmail catches alot in the Junk folder, and I still delete several a day.

i get about 10 per day.

i take a different approach, in every new spam email i get, i goto their website, get a "contact" email addy and write them a threatening racist email.

at times, when phone number was provided, i would call from my cell phone on saturdays (free calls) and verbally harrass the employees and royally FUCK with the managers and drill them about how they are spamming my computer.


i dont get mad anymore. i get even.

I have had 3 Yahoo.com accounts. My old one, I would get 70+ a day. Finally, I just stoped using that one. I went to it like a month later and the 8meg or whatever size they gave you was all full. Then about 2 months later went back, my account had been closed. Somewhere along the lines, I opened up a diffrent one, and I get maybe 2-3 a month. I don't give it out to alot of bussiness, so that's were it saves me.

ALWAYS when you sign up for something and you put in your email address, make sure that you NEVER leave any of the boxes clicked for "aditonal Info" this is where you get 03890328409240923409 spams.

Out of about 30-40 I get per day on average, only about 5-8 of them are spam. I don't run any filters, but then again I don't use spam heavy free email either.

haha- i use super haveavy spam filters.

step 1- on the server, we have spam assasin installed, and i have it tweaked for 4 points and higher to throw it out.
step 2- thunderbird- auto filtering {spam?} and {virus?} subjects that are questionsable to spam assaisn, get thrown into the garagecan.
step 3, i have a banned hosts list- http://www.spamhaus.org/rokso/index.lasso

I get 4 spams a day, most of which are real estate and software. I get the occasional penis enlarger every few days.

and my hotmail account, since perfecting my Hotmail technique, gets absolutely NONE. It's a mystery.

as far as extraneous pop-ups, I use (and update) Adaware and Spybot. I use them both.

Other than that, avoid the internet porn, and real estate. IF you're looking for a house and jerking off, just format your PC and start over. It will never go away.

monday morning i have about 150 emails
about 2 of those are valid communications...

i use the google toolbar for IE and it does well...
1669 pop ups blocked to date...

I get spam from ticketmaster and autotrader maybe twice a week. not enough to piss me off, so i just delete it. As far as popups go, i use the google toolbar and it works like a charm.
