how to change harness plugs

ok need help on changing out my harness plugs from my cx to my d16y8, what tools do I need and is it hard? dont want to you know to my car so please help me!

simple cut/paste.

buy a $15 soldering iron at a hardware/auto store and a spool of solder.

cut the old harness off the obd2 harness leaving an inch or 2 of wire to work with.
cut 1-wire at a time, off the obd1 harness, and position the obd2 harness in its stead. strip wire with wire cutters. twist tight. solder. tape. lather, repeat if desired. :)
