how to get a jdm h22a bar certified?

For the few of you that have done it, what has to be done to get a jdm h22a bar certified? Ive seen BAR stickers on jdm motors before and want to know what has to be done to obtain it. Any differences in difficulty when dealing with OBDI vs. OBDII? Thanks in advance.

what ive been told is you have to have all the oem senors, plugs, wires, and OBSOLUTELY no aftermarket stuff.. their real anal about stuff.. anyway, good luck

Do you mean CARB??? like you want to get it reff'd for smog??

BAR is when your car has an engine swap and its certified it meets all the emission requirements.. CARB is the association in which presides over emission regulations and they give out numbers or sometimes O.E. on parts.. basically, CARB/E.O. = Aftermarket Parts, BAR = OEM Engine swap

Thanks, sounds almost too easy from stories Ive heard. Is there any differences in sensors and wiring between the jdm and usdm h22a? Like are the usdm sensors and the jdm sensors all the same? Will my Helms manual show basically everything for the jdm h22a? Thanks again in advance and for the replies.
