i got a bad shake...

ok.. when i'm on the freeway and i'm trying to accelerate it still does, but it shakes like no other.. the whole car.. it does it from 60- 75 mph.. after that it quits.. what could be the problem?? could it be a motor mount?? or are the tire off balance?

What make/model? My 91 accord had a bad lower ball joint and it shook a lot around highway so I never took it over 60 so I dont know if it would smooth out. I am replacing the ball joints tomorrow afternoon and will let you know if it worked. Might be of some help.

i would check the axles first. if you can take them out, check to see if they grind. could be anything from dirt to out of balance wheels.

well.. i am going to be replacing my wheels pretty soon.. so i'll see then.. if it still does it after getting the tires balanced i'll look into checking the axles..
