Ok Here goes I want to add more hp I have a b18b ,I dont wanna do turbo right now and I dont wanna spray or do Vtec. What I am looking for is all motor but a good speed . I was thinkng about getting wokr done on the head and adding the trpe r intake mani . what kind of power gain Am i looking at ?
 
pnp head, skunk2 IM, maxbore tb, crower stage 2/3 cams & d.v.s kit, PR3 pistons, I/H/E, chipped OBD1 ecu (jumper harness if needed)

150+whp, im not going to give an accurate number, it all depends on how well its tuned.

Im planning on an LS swap for my 00 EK, if i can hit 100kw atw (134whp), ill be very happy!
 
i dont understand why you would want to build an n/a b18b without first doing a vtec headswap. im feeling bored so i wanna convince you to go vtec for this build.

Vtec head..500-800
eagle ls vtec kit..350
itr oil pump..100
itr water pump..50
main bearings..50
rod bearring..50
piston rings..50
rod bolts (weakest point in b18b internals)..50
new seals throughout the engine..lets say another 150
hondata s10..200
AFTER THAT..
you have room for so much more like higher comp pistons matching with some cams and nice port and polish. the list goes on and on

bottom line is for around 1300 you can have a properly build ls/vtec thats making +-160whp for less than an i/h/e for ur b18b thatll still have no balls
