Hey i just finished my vitara/ eagle d16 started it up for the first time and got code 14 cel. There wasnt a light before the build and the same thing happend when i swaped to this motor from my old d16. I think its for sure the iacv cuz a while back when i had it before i had my tuner disable it with a chip until i got a new one so i put that chip in and it goes away but i just tried 3 junk yard iacv and still a light, any suggestions .

Generally the IACV code is due to some kind of vacuum leak. First I'd double check all the hoses, and replace the intake manifold gasket (I forget if the d16s have a TB gasket, but if they do, might wanna replace that too). Basically, if you've gone through 3 IACVs it's probably a vacuum issue.
