Idle Air Control (IAC) questions... please help

I swapped a d16y8 in place of the d16y7 on my 99 civic.

Come to find out motor's originally an automatic, yet the swap was ok ... everything bolted fine to the ecu (p2p for 5speed tranny)
problems-
I have 2 CEL codes - 2ndary o2sensor circuit & IAC circuit.

I think if I remove it & clean it out it'll work again ... what's the best way to remove it?
oh, and is there a problem in continuing to use the rotary-style Idle Air Control with my 5spd?

I think you just take it off the car and clean the screens out use brake cleaner or gumout. no problem with useing it with 5 speed

That's what I'm thinking, joecivic.
The 5speed d16y7 that was in there before has the same rotary IAC that this d16y8 has, so why wouldn't it work ...

any help on the CEL for - (65) 2ndary o2sensor circuit heater ... I wired'em into the ecu & ran the wire to the center console ... wherever I wired the heaters is wrong, so where can I wire these 2 to get my o2 functional?
