Well i put a stage 2 cam in my civic ex. its a d16 motor. now im having the famouse idle prob. i just got my ecu chipped with a really good basemap. my car likes to idle up and down like 300 rpm weather its cold or warm. the more i listen to it its deff the fast idle valve. if i bypass the coolent lines to it will that get rid of the valve opening and closing?

bypass the coolant lines, remove the fitv from the bottom of the throttle (if removable, should be if i remember right), and make a block off plate with the rubber seal to prevent air from getting in.

did u bleed all the air from the coolant?

yea it still wont do right. i just want to make sure its going to idle ok b4 i bypass it cuz its making me very upset. lol
