My thermostat isnt opening the question is if I remove the thermostat will it harm my engine (B18A1 OBD-0). Also are there any type of non mods I can do to my car to mak eit faster like tuning without bolt ons or anything. I want to gain some power out of my car, but dont have money for bolt ons, however I do have parts to trade for used bolt ons... preferably a CAI from AEM or ICEMAN or something of the like. Please help..

it won't neccesarily harm it, it actually does some good. It keeps your motor cooler but i would just use a low temp. thermostat.

look on ebay or thepartstrader.com
you can probably find a CAI for under $100 shipped.

and please get rid of that bright ass orange color in your sig. it's not easy on the eyes. i kept getting distracted from your post and kept wanting to look at it. that's probably because of the bright color or my ADD...anyway...what was i saying...just kiddin...
