Im new and need some help if possible.

I have a '90 civic SI hatch. Im looking to swap a b16a(sirII) complete changeover into it. Comes with everything. I also have a harness from an EG civic as well. Im just confused about how to go about putting it in. I dunno how all the wiring harnesses are or how they should go. Any help or links would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance.

to swap the B16A SiRII into your Si will require the purchase of a mount kit which can convert the SiRII hydraulic actuated clutch to the cable actuated in your car - you will need to purchase a shift linkage - you will need to use your Si engine harness and add wiring to it for the VTEC, 2nd O2 sensor and knock sensor or purchase a subharness like this:

there are lots of other things that you will need like, radiator hoses, etc.

before installing it, you should give strong consideration to changing the timing belt, water pump, front and rear crank seals and oil pan gasket (particularly the timing belt) - depending on the condition of the clutch that comes on the engine, you may need a new one - i would put in a new one anyway, as it is a lot easier to do before you install the engine
