Info badly needed

Im thinking of swapping my D16y6 1.6 SOHC VTEC engine with a B16b DOHC VTEC.

what ECU does my car use it's civic 97'(ASIAN SPEC) and can i use that ecu with B16B ??

if yes, then what r the drawbacks, if any?

b16b is pricey. if you buy a full b16b swap, it should come with an ecu. i doubt the y6 ecu will work with b16b, but i'm not at all certain.

yeah...the ecu doesnt work, but the CTR should just come with the ECU you need. I dont have the time to see if its in the reference section, but definitely check that and see if it is there. It will be the ECU for a Civic Type R (JDM)
