Install Password JDM battery relocator?

So, I'm not sure exactly how this thing actually attaches, especially with the few pieces of hardware it came with. Does the metal plate go on the bottom or behind or? I see how it goes in the carbon case. It just goes below where the original battery placement was on the wall right? The pic they have isn't very informative. Any help appreciated.

I thought it mounted to the inner frame rail. IDK tho
