Doctors use these already, although it isn't the actual "ipad". My doc does, anyway.. He punches in all of your symptoms on his clipboard, and viola, a list of all the shit that could be wrong with you. At first I thought "Cheater!" But then I realized that this is great! It'll lead to less mis-diagnosed things. Or will alert the doc to more serious conditions that he may have otherwise missed. Like a calculator for doctors, sure they can figure it out sooner or later, but this thing makes it snappy!

He was also able to remotely send a prescription to my pharmacist straight from the device. That is also a good thing, no more scribbled indecipherable notes for the pharmacists to guess at..

Docs use full blown tablets that run full OS's. They are compatable with just about every piece of software out there. No need to re tool your whole network to support a tablet.

This thing is no where near as flexable as a tablet. Yes it looks good but like I said, the Air looks damn good too...

a friend of mine swears by his air for school. mainly because it fits with all his books and is light enough to take places with no bag.

So your medical insurance is payin him to use WebMD and then deliver the results to you?

Its actually charting software that ties into your electronic medical record. Its actually a very, very good idea.

Before I had insurance, I went to the "low income" clinic. They gave me this nurse dude who looked younger than me (I was like 22 at the time). I explain my symptoms in detail, he's nodding and writing shit down. He leaves and comes back with PRINTOUTS FROM WEBMD. Then proceeds to read them to me.
So, I say, you not only think I'm too stupid to know about WebMD, you also don't think I can read? I want to see a real doctor NOW.
The next guy that came in was much more helpful.

The wife was going to get me one for my BD, but I told her to wait....

once they get the bugs worked out, and I read real user's comments, and they drop the price a bit for service... I'll jump.

reason being, after a long nights work...the drive home gets boring and I've almost ran off the road...so I prop the iphone up on the gauge cluster and put on pornhub...and I stay awake somehow to get home...

and a few times I'll toss the iphone on VEOH.com and stream some JDM comedy for the wife while we go on out drives...it's fun to drive by other cars...and I have a straight face on and the wife is busting out in tears while she's laughing so damn hard.

now if I can get that same feature...but in a bigger screen (yet ultra-portable) so a glance is worth a glance...it will make the commute less hazardless.

If you bought a tablet from any other manufacturer, all the peripherals would be either built-in or included in the base model.

And generally they allow stylus input so you can actually write notes and what not.

Have any of you guys looked on ebay at the massive amount of domains and email addresses being sold for the ipad?
