Is there such a thing as a 35-litre gas tank?

Just bought a used 96 Civic CX and that's what the tank size seems like, i.e., at almost empty, we'd fill the tank and pump in just 29 litres. Haven't had the actual tank size checked yet, or whether maybe there's something wrong with the indicator. Gas consumption is O.K., just annoying that we have to put gas every 350 km.

I think they're around 40-45liter. Just check a Helms manual; they have the information in there.

Not sure if this helps or not, but my 95 EX Coupe is stated to have an 11.9 gal. tank. When it indicates it's empty, the most I can get in it is around 9.5 gallons.

Yup, 10 gallons (39 liters) is about it.

I've seen hondas with anywhere from 40l to 65l. But no, never seen a 35 liter tank.

Check the car's manual.

sounds about right i live in thailand and we usally out 35 to 40 litlers in our hatch , your gauge might be off
