JDM and USDM swaps compatible?

I was going to order a complete JDM swap, and then later on, I was going to get a DART rebuilt engine, bored to 84.5 mm. I was wondering if with the JDM swap, the dart engine will work. Or do I need a USDM cpu? dumb question, I know... Im just not too experienced with all this yet.

Well, once you get the Dart built up and running, you'll want to have some kind of adjustability in your ECU for tuning a monster like that. So, IMO, just get your swap in for now, then spend some time ironing out the details and figuring out your end goals. But yes ECU will run it.
