jdm b16a2 shift linkage to short for eg civic?

Got my jdm b16a2 in car and running, but the shifter linkage is to short.Is it because
original car was right hand drive? Anyone ever have this problem?Car is 92 eg hatch
same as car motor came from, any advice?

Try getting a usdm shift linkage from a b16a2.
