Jdm h22a timing issue our something else

Hey everyone just got my h22a swapped into my civic. Im having a problem though i start it and it runs good but like 30 seconds later my header gets really hot and starts smoking. I changed the timing belt before i put the motor in but does anyone else have any ideas

not sure why it would be smoking but if the headers leaking smoke then for sure u'll need a new exhaust manifold gasket.

If this is a new swap, start her up, let it idle for awhile. The smoke should stop.

Sounds like your timing is way to slow or your motor is running really lean. Does your header get hot enough to glow?

Timing belt is lined up correctly? How did you verify?
