hey guys, I just picked up a 1987 civic Si for 600$. Car runs good, High mileage 230k, clutch is a little loose. But the Body is real clean. Couple little dents here and there but its never seen a winter. Its a 12valve of course but its PGM-FI. I had no idea the 87 si was Fuel Injected.
I don't plan on doing much to the car, as long as it doesn't need it. But Since this car is PGM-FI can I swap a d16a6 into it? or just swap the head and intake? will a 89-91 si ecu work?

thanks

I dont think its direct bolt in but there is a way to get it to work. Most people end up swapping 1st gen Integra motors into the 84-87s. There are a few knowledgeable guys on here or try redpepperracing.com
