So who's psyched about going to see the new Quentin Tarantino film this weekend

to clarify the poll for those who have no sense of humor
I love Quentin Tarantino Films = yes
Eh I'll be there, it's just a movie = maybe
Quentin Tarantino Films Suck = no


I'll be there for sure. It's about damn time he's made this film he only started talking about it with Uma when they made Pulp Fiction.
 
Im excited to see it, the reviews have been really good for this flick...I just hope I get the chance to go

I loved 2001 Space odysee, but I hate Kubrick. Hating Kubrick feels SO good.

you don't have to personally love the director, just enjoy his/her work

I don't know shit about Tarantino or Kubrick but I love their movies

at any rate I'm pumped about "kill bill"
should be the bomb
 
I love Tarantino's films. I just hate him when he casts himself as an actor in his films. :)

Anyway, Kill Bill looks awesome. I'll be there soon after it opens.

And yes, Kubrick (and his films) suck.

I don't think he's a good actor either but I don't mind that he casts himself in his own movies... sort of like Kevin Smith and I love Smith's movies

Kubrick is amazing as far as I'm concerned.
I don't know which of his movies you have seen or under what circumstances you saw them but I think that they are all very good (jury is still out on "eyes wide shut though") and I think he does a great job of capturing different aspects of society and exposing things for what they are..... i.e. the cold war in "DR. Strangelove, or How I learned to stop worrying love the bomb"

2001: A Space Odyssey? Fucking horrible.
A Clockwork Orange? Worth seeing once, but I don't ever want to have to sit through that trash again.

Kubriks films are just amazing. his one of the originals that said fuck it I'm doing whatt I want to do from my point of view and opened a shit load of doors for future screen writers and directors. and from that we get all our amazing independent artist/film etc...
