I had a JDM B16 A put in my 1995 Civic, 5speed...
a few weeks later it threw a CEL for the knock sensor,
now the strange thing is the car smoked for a few weeks after the install, but cleared up but for a little when the car warms up...
the scenario:
the car warms up (no heavey throttle util then), and smokes a little (I'm thinking valve seals maybe...) then the check engine light comes on (knock sensor all the time), and the car stops smoking...
does anyone have any ideas for this?
I'm thinking the engine warms up and the seals 'seal' better...
Thanks for any responses...

I would check to make sure the shop actually wired in the knock sensor, its the only wire you have to add for that swap, if the did add it, it probably needs to be re-done, as far as the smoke don't know

***you have to add the knock sensor wire from the ecu all the way to the sensor god luck***

im thinking valve seals with the smoke, thats what mine did when they were blown, but I dont know whats wit the knock sensor. you can either wire it or ground the knock sensor wire out of the ecu to stop the CEL.
