not at all.

they are an equal contender if you ask me... but they offer different grinds from each other. check our reference section for the cam specs.

frankly, running mid 13's on a CR/VTEC with cams and headwork and an itr tranny is FAR from impressive if you ask me. its just your average CR/VTEC
 
mid 13's on a CR/Vtec is very bad, i have a friend with a stock B16b in a 93 hatch gutted running 13.7's... s mid 13's is nothing to be proud of on a engine with .4 more L's.
 
ramp angle-> i'll try to find a pic... if not be prepared for some kindergarten illustrations.

Advantages of running a wide ramp angle:

-more area under "the curve"

-Same duration as narrow angle cam

-same lift as narrow angle cam



Disadvantages:
